The Coffey/Coffee Reunion Association

The 75th Annual Meeting of the Coffey/Coffee Reunion Association will be held this summer from Friday, June 24th – Sunday, June 26th. They will meet at the Ashmore Inn and Suites, 4019 South Loop 289, Lubbock, Texas. If you’d like more information, contact Ilah Coffee Merriman at ICMerriman@aol.com.

Fiona and I will be attending this very special occasion.

 

2011 Mini Gathering

Plans for the Mini-Gathering are moving apace. The Macfie Clan is to be the Honoured Clan at both the Charleston, South Carolina, and Scotland County, North Carolina, Games this coming September. At the suggestion of Sandy, both locations will share the Mini-Gathering. The dates for this are the 17th September for Charleston and 1st October for Laurinburg (Scotland County).

Commissioner Jim McAfee and his wife, Ginger (jgmcafee@charter.net) assisted by Bill and Barbara Morris, are managing the Charleston Games. Vision Committee Chair John Rosser (JFRosserSL@aol.com) and his wife Marty are heading up the Scotland County event. If you are intending to take part in the Mini-Gathering please contact Jim, John or myself.

A wide range of events have been planned over both weekends, and details will appear on the Clan Macfie USA website and elsewhere. The Official websites for both Games provide information on location, timing of events, pricing, etc.

It would be wonderful to see many Clan folk at both Events. However, distances are so great it is understandable if you can attend only one or the other. Fiona and I will be pleased to see you whether you are at both or only one Event.
