Letter from our Vice-President, Iain McFie to the Commander, Sandy MacPhie

Dear Sandy and Helen,

Arrived back from Sweden on Wednesday. Had a wonderful time. I will send a full report by snail mail.

While in Sweden the Macfie Society held a meeting and discussed the setting for 2009. Fiona and I were given several options, but the first seem to be very suitable although it is in the Highlands and close to Inverness. The Hotel has a Tourist Board three star rating, which is good and the estimated price of £42,50, assuming a 10% increase for 2008 and 2009, for DB and B seems very acceptable but could be less. The Hotel has accommodation for 150 people.
